July 6 Parry Sound to St. Amants 6 hours

We left after charting the course Doug set for us. It was perfect.
First a trip through Hole in the Wall,
A narrow slot canyon between two rocks

Passed a few more lighthouses

Hard to believe the are built on boulders

Turned into Snug Harbor for Smoked fish at Gilly's We were told to stay in the center of the channel and tie up at the public dock. It was just left of the barges loading everything needed to build a home on one of the thirty thousand islands.

Cutter and I waited while John purchased his smoked fish.
The restaurant is upstairs behind the Snug Store, but we decided to eat in the boat.

While eating at the dock, we saw barges move one at a time to the loading area, two 12 year old boys swimming next to them and an older lady walk out of her home and slip into the water nearby.

As we left the tiny, shallow harbour, we noticed the lighthouse is closed, but still a great photo.
