July 4 Midland to our Anchorage. 4 hours

HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY We stopped at a marina in Honey Bay to get fuel and realized that Canada Day weekend coincides with the 4th of July .
Boaters are crazier in Canada. Finally decided the no wake signs at the marina mean put the boat on a plane and see how fast you can go.
After a long twisting harrowing trip through narrow rocky rocky boulders , dodging boats and jet skis, we stopped to regroup.

Notices several boats moored together Ft. George style. Thought of our friends in Jacksonville. Looked at each other and decided to spend the night at anchorage. The boaters left to go to work tomorrow but the osprey stayed to look after us.
We took the opportunity to swim in the Canadian waters.

It was cold. It is hard to believe this is a beach area.

The remaining boat was a "Looper". Phil and Barbara rowed over to share stories about their "Great Loop adventure.
The evening ended with a perfect sunset.
