5/27 Shelburn Vt to Burlington 1 hour

Memorial Day Weekend feels strange being away from home. We should be shopping and getting ready for our party as we have for the last 31 years. Instead we are walking around Burlington Vermont.

We could spend several days here but have to continue our adventure

Surprise, there is a marathon here tomorrow

The marathon committee encourages school children to participate in junior events. Hundreds of kids showed up to run 1 or 2 mile events.

When checking the mileage to the Canadian border, we found Garmin did not include Canadian maps. So off to West Marine by bus and foot, to remedy it. Life is so different without an auto.
