July 7 -9 St. Amants to Killarney North Channel

No Betty Lou, my camera isn't broken. We left the marina and when we left the channel the fog dropped. Finally after about 15 minutes the GPS found an anchorage.
John did the only logical thing. He fished until the sun won.

Friends Rick and Sharon saw us passing in the fog. We both headed to Collins Inlet.

The scenery was absolutely beautiful. note the channel marker, don't get too close.

Passed several kayaks along the way.

Again, the scenery was beautiful, so John fished.
Rick and Sharon in their boat Phoenix 4 passed us as John was fishing, and suggested a great anchorage in Collins Channel. They invited us to their boat for a drink and share boating stories. When we took Cutter to shore we found the spot where the kayakers planned to spend the night. The entire Collins Channel and we all stop at the same place.
Left the anchorage as soon as the fog cleared. And continued along Collins Inlet. We are now at the top of Lake Huron, past Georgian Bay in the North Channel. Our son, John, said we are not giving enough information about our location.

Killarney is a little community all boaters must pass through on the great loop.
John found the Fish and Chips restaurant.

It reminded us of Mayport
The coast guard boat passed right behind our dock.
