4/30 Charleston to N. Myrtle Beach 9 long hrs
After leaving Charleston at 8:30 A.M., yes John was awake, we stopped at Belle Isle Marina to check out the green, green grass. One of the locals told us if we walk up the T docks back to our boat, Cutter can bark at the alligators, but don't worry they are only small ones. We quickly got back into the boat to wait for John. After a long trip we finally arrived at barefoot bay marina. This is adjacent to a huge complex of small stores, including Vicky's favorite Chicos. Not much else to say about the trip.
The next morning we walked to McDonalds for a nutritious breakfast and then Vicky took her regular fast walk around the shopping center and John and Cutter readied Kids Again for todays adventure.
Pretty straight trip, no surprises said John. About 1 1/2 hours into the trip we were stopped by a plontoon bridge. I practiced keeping the boat still in the wind for 15 minutes waiting for an opening
