5/1 Myrtle Beach to Wrightsville Beach 6hours

Momma Osprey

Vicky has been practicing taking photos while John navigates the waters

Everything was going fine until we got to Cape Fear, Wind, Confusion, chanel markers everywhere and a light chop to the water. John said this is perfect weather for a crossing. Why do you think this is called CAPE FEAR?

We passed Masonboro Marina, where Kids Again stayed last May while Vicky recouperated from her heart attack and stent. Vicky now feels this adventure can begin with a fresh start.

We pulled into Seapath Marina, Wrightsville Beach, now dominated by a huge condo complex.

We met Bob and Ginger, soon to start their own Loop Adventure, Jane and Pat the captains aboard Cat Maundy, the Sail cat we carefully followed under a 65 ft. bridge ,and the crew from Moral Compass, including Dixie a friendly boxer.

Lucky you! Doing the loop! Wish we were with you(in our own boat, of course) One day. But now we're going to do it vicariously through both of you. Thanks for the blog, so we can follow you along the way. Amazing, John leaving the dock at 8am. Never thought I'd see the day. Safe travels. Helaine
