5/3 Beaufort to Belhaven Marina 5 hours

A beautiful travel day at sea, or should I say Intracoastal? We crossed the Pungo River and stopped at Belhaven Marina. We again caught up with Off Call Mike and Susanne researched the restaurants and we decided to join them, only to find BOTH restaurants were closed on Monday. We dined back at the boat on appetizers and tube steaks.

The hospitality of our hosts Les and Brenda Porter more than outweightd the submerged broken pilings to be avoided 10 feet from our dockage. The men's shower/bath required photographed, Brenda's father and uncles photos and love letters during the war were framed and displayed while the ladies room was tastefully done in an underwater theme.

Unfortunately, we wated 45 minutes for the MR. Clean to get polished and vacate the men's room for a photo shoot. But we couldn't wait any longer and I took photos of the ladies shower.
